Welcome to the Temple!

The Temple of the Sacred Spring is the manifestation of this charge Miss Buttafly was given by her ancestors in 2013. As an ordained minister and former pastor, Miss Buttafly was well aware of the spiritual nature of her calling, but at the time this message was channeled, she was still living in fear of the weight of that calling. However, as is the nature of all things, this word matured in its own time and in the fall of 2016, The Temple of the Sacred Spring was birthed.

The Temple of the Sacred Spring is a private, members-only community dedicated solely to the Divine Feminine. Miss Buttafly serves as its Founder and High Priestess. As High Priestess, she leads in rituals and service to the Goddess and to the Divine Feminine within each member (ascendant) of the community. The name "Sacred Spring" is inspired by the Amrita of the Goddess, the Holy Water which flows between her thighs and the Sacred Blood that women shed in menses and childbirth. It is also a reference to Miss Buttafly's birth name, Dionne, which means "from the sacred spring."

The Temple is modeled after Ipet Isut in ancient Kemet (Temple of Karnak in modern Egypt). Ipet Isut was the Great Lodge, the University, and the Temple where initiates were instructed in the ancient mystery systems. At the Temple of the Sacred Spring, members will be instructed in the ways of the Goddess and the Divine Feminine. There are three degrees of initiation into The Temple of the Sacred Spring conferred through the Institute of Feminine Arts. All ascendants receive are encouraged to participate in the Honey Child Sista Circle, our support group for women in spiritual transition.
