The vision for the Honey Child Sista Circle was birthed in the spirit of our founder, Dionne “Miss Buttafly” Wood in 2013, when the first “Goddess Circle” was held in Atlanta, GA. After years of personal transformation and spiritual evolution, the vision for HSCS has now evolved to meet the unique psycho-spiritual and emotional needs of women of color who find themselves disillusioned with organized religion and thirsting for something more. There is an axiom that says, “not all who wander are lost.” HSCS is here to provide a safe space for the wandering women to find restoration, affirmation, and community.
